zta41 Home early. shoulder strap pristine condition,little wear to the bag. Last picture not accurate.There are a few little black spots which are hardly discernible. A good leather cleaner could probably take them out. I don’t think this takes away from the bag at all. I only carried it a few times.I do want you to know that I’m closing down my closet from 11/15 to 01/10 . I just want you to be aware of this in making your decision.Happy Thanksgiving !

zta41 @kandisilaskane No, This is an authentic Dooney and Bourke. I have a number of them and I’ve never seen a serial number tag in any of them. Maybe I’m missing some thing, but I can’t help you here. Thanks for your interest.

cmhyde73 @zta41 All Dooney & Bourkes come with a serial number inside of them. It is the number printed on the reverse of the D&B tag. It will match the number on the yellow registration card.

cmhyde73 I’m sorry I should have been more specific. D&B satchels usually have a leather tag sewn into the inside back panel; and lower down inside the bag there should be a cloth tag that says Dooney and Bourke with a long number printed on the reverse side. That will be the serial number. This bag is white? In some of the pictures it looks to be a lovely sea foam green color. Beautiful bag nevertheless.

zta41 @cmhyde73 Hi, I haven’t had the time to look yet, but I will. The bag is white. I just know that it’s an authentic Dooney and Bourke. I don’t buy knock offs. Sometimes I think I shouldn’t sell it because it was so expensive and it is beautiful . As I get older I tend to buy a smaller bag but I certainly love the big ones. Thanks for your help. I’ll let you know what I find.

zta41 Hi, thanks for the information. It took me a while to find it because the bag is so deep. Finally I did. It also has a leather tag on the other side which says assembled in Mexico. I’m surprised it wasn’t assembled in China. Anyway it is authentic and thank you because I wouldn’t have found it. I do have four more Dooney and Bourke‘s and I looked and they all have a similar tag. You were very helpful again thank you.

cmhyde73 @zta41 oh you are most welcome. I never thought it was a knockoff. Dooney & Bourkes are extremely well made. I could tell by the stitching it was authentic. I don’t need another bag or I would love to buy it. It is gorgeous! You do have some other things i’ve got my eye on though. 😊

62554 The picture third from the last shows a flaw on the handle. Can you share what is the defect and where on the handle/strap? Thanks

zta41 @62554 I’m away from my home right now, but I will look and take another picture because I don’t remember a flaw. However, this is a very expensive bag and the price is small.this is the lowest price I will accept for this bag. As to the quality of the items that I sell, please look at my comments and you’ll see that my descriptions are accurate and I wouldn’t sell anything to anyone that I wouldn’t buy myself.. zta41 I was including a shawl but for this price I deleted it in the listing. I took pictures of the handles on both sides, there is no flaw. I guess that was just a crazy picture. Hope this helps and again thanks for your interest
