the dress brand new I tried it on at the department store brought it home and, I did take the tags off, however, I decided not to wear it to the dinner event I was going to because of the weather that day. it has been sitting in my closet for 4 months, I recently sent it to the dry cleaners for refresh. This is an absolutely beautiful dress that would compliment any lady for that special night to remember. For you $45
