ronronc @dawnhandwork I measured right below the armpits and it is 18 inches (picture attached). This is when the jacket is zipped up and closed. I guess it depends how you want to wear it, but normally I wear jackets like these unzipped and open so any chest size should fit. Let me know if you have any more questions!
