I put the measurements in the description, and I wear mine across my chest, I've never worn them as a waist pack I just added a pic & new video of the strap fully extended. Hope that helps! Thanks for looking :)

I do know that you can buy fanny pack extenders. Through Stoney Clover or small shops. I've even seen them sold here on Poshmark. :)
