DECOUPAGE OYSTER SHELL  

I used rice paper deflecting rose. In make this shell a little bit cracking varnish to make it appear aged and antique looking. I used varnish to make it shine front and back. unfortunately cameras can't grasp the shine without reflecting over shine. I gold painted around the edges. It can be a beatiful accent as decor piece, trinket tray. it does lay flat or can be put on a stand. either way it's beautiful. The shell can be a gift for sny occassion. Every shell has its own charastics. These clam shells were homes to a living creature once. Possibly have bumps and grooves from growth. . They are not manufactured shells. They could be not a perfect circle or oval. They are nature, unique and different. Look closely to the  pictures. 9 inches long almost 5 inches at its widest point it has a good enough depth
