It isn’t filled in which gives it a distinctive look. The edge is trimmed in deep celery green that highlights the design. There are no chips, cracks or scratches on three (3) of the plates. The fourth plate has a small chip on the deep celery green frame. (It is barely noticeable). However, this fourth plate has no scratches or cracks on the surface.
