But I wondered if you might be able to make a cosplay for Carvai from World War Blue? I think she's adorable, and she's one of the ideas I'm floating around, but I also can't find, like, ANY cosplay of her. Anywhere.

katiegraham227 Hey I was hoping to be Loki for this Halloween and I would like to have a more authentic looking costume. When I looked online I kept finding things around 130 $ or that didn’t look authentic. I was wondering if you would be able to make something for me around the 50$ price range. tbartyb @katiegraham227 Hello! a Loki costume contains a lot of material, most of which should be a type of (p)leather, which explains why online they cost a significant amount. For something of that size I would not be able to make materials stay in the $50 range, plus the labor of all that detail sewing. I'm very sorry! I wish you good luck, and if you change your costume idea or need something for a different character, let me know!

tbartyb @katiegraham227 I wish I could get it under $100! What I tend to do for costumes is find bits at thrift stores that I can rework to make the necessary components, but with Loki it would all be ground-up custom sewing. From what I can find of cheap material and others' diy Loki, the $130 you found may be the cheapest you can get:c
