As much as I absolutely love this coat, I have been packing my winter wear & I have only worn it a few times & I simply have too much winter outerwear! ALL by 686! It looks and feels thin but the technology in this coat keeps you incredibly toasty. The powder skirt is in perfect condition the elasticity of the bottom seems brand new. I literally still have the first snowboard pants I bought from 686, they have over 1000 days on em, that are still working and are about 27 years old, Thats how well made 686 is! The hood faux fur is detachable & coat is machine washable, personally I reseal my outerwear with Nix Wax at least twice a year to keep it in peek condition.
