phoebeleith1976 Hi there, I'll bet you can remove these stains with the right cleaner and using an old toothbrush? I might try using Resolve by spraying some on a dish, dipping the toothbrush in and then scrubbing on a spot, dabbing with a paper towel as I go along... always with it open and face down on a clean tea towel. No rinse, just air dry...

phoebeleith1976 @ginabondanza385 Also - I've had good results with complete submersion in warm soapy water and scrubbing the livin' daylights on high-end wallet and bag stains. My goal is to make it look like new...Let me know how it turns out? Happy Poshing!

ekalda @phoebeleith1976 How long do you submerge the wallet in warm soapy water? What tool do you use to scrub the livin daylights out of them? I've been using soft washcloths (I scrubbed a pink Prada wallet from icky cream back to pink!) but I think a brush might be better. I use horsehair shoe brushes with Saddle soap. That's how I got the Prada wallet clean - took 4 hours over 3 days.

phoebeleith1976 Good work! It takes a sort of smart recklessness to do a project like this. I don't submerge items for a long time - just to completely soak and to see what happens - some dirt or dye coming out etc. etc. I've done things like that in my bathtub as well as in my kitchen sink. Do you know how to identify a fake Prada wallet? I found one some years ago in the bottom of a drawer in a charity thrift store. I can't see anything about it that looks wrong?
