serenityguru I am back home from my trip and I am looking at the jacket and it looks perfect to me. I see no signs of any blemishes. The fabric is definitely beige and has a shiny glisten to it. I have added a picture of it next to a sheet of white printer paper so you can see the difference and that it is in no way white. Let me know if you have any other questions. thanks, Martha.
