Size: 1 3/8” x 1/4” Crannogh was the Pictish word for the lovely thatched dwellings built on stilts over the lochs of ancient Scotland. The Pict people inhabited Scotland from a very early time into the Celtic period. The design is taken from a needle found at an archaeological site in Northern Scotland.
