This is a vintage Cow Salt Shaker holding a Live Air Plant. The shaker is stamped "Made in Japan" on the base, and was made by NASCO in the 1950s so it is a lovely vintage piece. Since the matching (baby) pepper shaker is missing, the shaker has been upcycled as an adorable Airplant Holder. The air plant is just sitting loose on the shaker, so it can be easily removed for watering or if you want to use the shaker by itself. The shaker is in good condition for its age - it does have some crazing and paint/glaze wear, but no chips or cracks. It also still has its original cork stopper in the bottom. It measures about 4.75 inches tall. I am happy to include gift wrapping and/or a gift message if requested. Air plants are easy to care for and require no soil. They just need the occasional spritz or soak in water. A care card will be included.
