“Cosmic Connection” LED Shadowbox

“Cosmic Connection" is a unique and one-of-a-kind piece of art that will bring light and love to your home. I created this LED Shadowbox by melting oil pastels on a foam core background, installing and designing the lighting scheme, and assembling the foam core box with staples, hot glue and black paint to contain every molecule of light. It was inspired by the connections that exist between all living beings. Measuring 40 inches in length, 30 inches in height and 6 inches in width, this contemporary and abstract piece is handmade and showcases a 3D effect that will leave you in awe. The LED lights add an extra touch of magic to the artwork, creating a beautiful, trippy and dynamic atmosphere in any room. The more you move around the piece, the more it changes, so perspective is everything. “Cosmic Connection" was produced in 2021 and is an original piece. I am an artist with a BFA in Communications Design and a MPS in art therapy, both from Pratt Institute.
