Q23 - Corning Ware 2 Qt Vintage Wildflower Poppy A-2-B Casserole Dish w/Glass Lid A-9-C Pyrex. Corning Ware A-2-B is a square shaped 2 quart covered casserole shown here in the Wildflower pattern, which appears on both sides of the piece. This is in excellent vintage condition, no chips or stains, it is very clean. Almost no sign of wear to the inside. Light scuffing underneath. The lid is in excellent shape as well. Corning Ware casseroles are range and microwave safe, this vintage cookware is made in the USA and can be used for serving and storage as well. Measurements are 8 1/8" square" x 2 1/2" tall without the lid. Series "A" Corning Ware has been discontinued, it was produced from 1973-1994; however, the cornflower pattern was discontinued after 1988. This beautiful Pyroceramic dish can go from freezer to oven, stove or microwave, to table. Store leftovers and reheat in the same pan. Looks great as a serving dish at the table. Saves dish washing time because you don't need to keep transferring food from storing to cooking to serving.
