MARKINGS: The bottom has pressed or molded markings that read 472 1 - 1/2 QT 9 PYREX R in a circle registered mark MADE IN U.S.A. OVEN WARE
METAL / MATERIAL: Most likely borosilicate glass as this bowl has the PYREX mark in all capital lettering
Pyrex products were made of borosilicate glass until the 1950s, at which point they began switching to manufacturing products with tempered soda lime. (If the logo is in upper case lettering, PYREX, it's most likely made of borosilicate vs tempered soda lime glass. Lowercase lettering is most likely made of soda-lime glass)
