Cool MCM William Adams Towle Co. set of 3 Double Lidded Silver Plate Bowls This is a really Cool MCM William Adams Towle Co. set of 3 Double Lidded Silver-Plated Bowls. The bowls are presented in a streamlined Mid Century Modern look with an industrial/futuristic/Atomic feel of that era. The bowls have three sections - the bowl. rim lid, and top lid. The lids fit on top of each other and the three pieces are substantial in their weight. The bowls measure approximately 6" across by 5" high. The bowls are in good condition with no dents and some small tarnish patina that could be polished out even more and minor wear associated with age and usage. All three lid components are perfect and shiny. One bowl has no anomalies, one has marks from having some tape once attached to it which removed some silver plating, and the other bowl has the silver plating removed down to its original brass (please see last three pics). These anomalies do not in any way obstruct the overall stunning presentation and display. These bowls look like shiny planets! Each bowl is stamped at the base with the William Adams Towle Company trademark.
