jedikemsley Hello, I am interested in this light but have a question: respectfully, aren’t these $16 new on their website? I assume they come with a battery, too. Idk, I’m fairly new to the flashlight game but please enlighten me. Like I said, I’m interested in this lil guy!

clothesingthyme @jedikemsley yes they are cheaper on convoys site, but they take a while to ship from china. But if you don’t mind waiting I’d say definitely order from convoy, then you can get the specific color and led that you want. I don’t typically ship batteries so I don’t have to bother with hazardous material labels, but besides that I only have a couple 14500s right now. I’d recommend getting a couple vapcell batteries if you do order a light, they are some of the best on the market right now

jedikemsley @clothesingthyme Great information—I appreciate your response. I have a couple olights & a thrunite but that’s all so far. People sure rave about the convoy lights in the Reddit forums, it’s crazy. I guess the hype is just a lot of flashlight for your money? Anyway again thanks for the response & recommendations!

clothesingthyme @jedikemsley yes absolutely, you get the option to customize your light for ridiculously good prices! I’ve bought dozens of Convoys and I can’t recommend them enough, especially if you are just getting into the hobby. Once you become more familiar with your preferences, you can get into more expensive stuff. Emisar/Noctigon makes my favorite lights, they are very well made and similar to convoy, just a bit more bang

clothesingthyme @jedikemsley Convoy S2 with a nichia 519a 4500k is a great light to start out with, very middle of the road and High CRI!
