No, the heel isn't chunky. It's like normal Converse. I think the sole (that this particular design) makes the heel look "chunky"

Since usually you have to size down in converse is it a 6.5 making it a 7 of a 7 making it a 7.5 if that makes any sense?

@3milylbeck no tote makes sense! I would say these are a 7W that make it feel like a 7.5W
I can fit a 7W in sandals, 5-5.5Y (in Nikes/Jordans)/
but these particular chucks do not fit :(
