Colorful Athletic Sneakers

The LV Sprint Sneaker was debuted during the house’s Fall/Winter 2021 show “Teal / Fuchsia / Black Green Mirror, Mirror,” which happened to be one of Abloh’s most adventurous and perfected shows to date. Despite all of the greatness that did appear here, pieces such as these shoes did also crop up. Regardless if you like the shoes or not, LV goes to show that it really can put its stamp on anything and call it a hit. The lightweight sneaker is made from a mix of technical materials (predominantly mesh) and features a graphic overlay that reminds us of the kind of patterns that would adorn a noughties football boot. Flashes of 3M appear all around, while the LV Monogram Flower motif takes center stage on the middle of the shoe. The traditional Monogram logo appears on the tongue, while “Vuitton” graces the lateral-side rear-quarter heel in block letters alongside more signature house branding beneath it on a technical plastic-mesh section. Rounding out the pair is the large LV branding on the rear and the “Vuitton” embossing on the toe.
