Valkyrie is the Chooser of the Slain in Norse mythology. The Valkyrie doesn’t refer to one individual, but rather a band of warrior maidens chosen by Odin to ride the skies on horseback watching over battles. Each of these Norse God Series Odin Rounds is the creation of Julie Lindquist, lead artist and creator at the Anonymous Mint. Italian sculptor Luigi Badia created the impressive 3D renderings of Howard David Johnson’s artwork for use in each of the five designs in the series. All rounds are struck by the Osborne Precious Metals company, America’s oldest private mint.
