Collectors- Eve Kaplin Vintage Memphis Era Pinwheel Necklace

This colorful kinetic necklace was designed by Eve Kaplin in 1982. It is reversible- one side colorful, the other more muted tones. This particular necklace design is in the permanent collection at the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt Design Museum. Eve’s work includes geometric and organic shapes, articulation, and colorful enamel work. This piece is a part of her “Mechanical Series.” It is in very good condition with very minor wear shown in picture three.
