Elizabeth Fraser’s distinctive vocals remained a central element of the album, while Robin Guthrie’s atmospheric guitar work and Simon Raymonde’s bass lines provided a lush backdrop. The album was produced by Cocteau Twins themselves, with additional production by Lincoln Fong. The recording took place at September Sound in London.
