kjs_emporium Are these live mold spores on the bag? or mold pox? What did you use to treat the mold?

mariaanachavez @kjs_emporium Hi, in my experience those are age spots, it happens over time to natural leather just like human skin, normally mold spots on leather look black on light tanned leather and white and grayish color on dark bags, not fixable or safe to use it always comes back when the bag get exposed to a little bit of humidity.

sherryberryfit @mariaanachavez those are mold measles. Active mold and mold measles can be treated with 5% or more white vinegar.

sherryberryfit @1womanstrash_ those are definitely mold measles on that bag. It should be isolated from all other bags until treated. Spray inside and out and in every nook and cranny with at least 5% white vinegar then let dry, preferably in the sunlight or in front of a fan.

meantnothing @sherryberryfit These are a grease sports, not mold. If mold spots would be everywhere, especially inside the bag. Now, only one corner; nothing under the flap. Somebody took bad care of this bag. People only know mold because vintage. I had the same bag; it was a grease.
