Hi there. Are those scratches on the front from a pet? Can it be repaired? Or should I leave the scratches there? Maybe it looks "cool vintagy".... adds personality? What do you suggest.... I see a few places that need to be sewn up where the red is..Is it that obvious in person? Pictures can be exaggerated blown up. Is the leather still soft and in good condition? What's that in the small outside pocket?
Thanks

@bluegreen1011 I'm not sure what the scratches are from, the mark inside the pocket is a discoloration from the metal button, I'm trying to clean the suede, and the few rips with the red yard I'm going to try to patch them with red yard as embroidery so it will look custom, overall is a gorgeous vintage piece that was not really taken care of. a friend of mine found in a house she purchased so I don't know the history behind

Let me know if you're still planning on trying to remove the metal debris in the front pocket and if you're planning to stitch those areas up with red.
Thank you
