💼 Coach Embassy Briefcase 396 - 0839 in brown (possibly British tan or tabac) leather, 1980s NYC USA stamp with brass hardware 💼 This special briefcase was born in Coach's New York City, USA factory back in the early 80's. The wonderful patina on this bag is proof that it was well loved for a long time. Because of its use, there are some decent signs of wear and age. The handles have darkened from being held, and there are scratches, dings, and pen marks. There is a small crack in a part of the piping which has been glued and conditioned, but you may want to add additional glue per your preference. There are also some small cracks in one of the handles, but the leather is still sturdy. The interior of the briefcase is in excellent condition. The suede has been brushed and has little to no noticeable marks that aren't general use and age related. The brass hardware has been lightly polished and a touch of beeswax was added to the zipper to maintain a smooth open/close. The bag was incredibly dry when I received it, so it has gone through a light cleaning and a few rounds of conditioning over a good length of time as well a buffing. There is one main compartment with two slip pockets on the inside, and two large exterior pockets on either side. My home is smoke-free but I do have pets. The bag has been thoroughly cleaned, but just be aware that there may be traces of pet fur in the packaging. No dust bag. Let me know if you have any questions!✨
