Front outer is embroidered black on black Signature C pattern. They can be worn inside or outside! Also these can definitely be unisex as the only difference in women's and men's is the color brown for women and black for men. The design for this slipper male ir female is the same! To be honest I'd rather wear black due to soiling being so visible on lighter colors. Especially if you intend to wear them outdoors would I recommend the black one based on past experience with my pink ones.
