While the leather is creased at the knees and ankle and has acquired a scuff here and there, it is in excellent condition, just as soft, supple, strong & durable as the day I bought them. The shiny gunmetal hardware has a nice pop against the vintage black leather, and is still in excellent condition. These boots have been well-cared for, professionally cleaned annually during the period I wore them, and professionally resoled twice. They were worn only a few times since their last resoling.
