okapishop @andreahope79 Hi. I'm not sure what you mean by "front clasp." Do you mean the clip for the shoulder strap? If so, it hasn't been used, so any scratches would be from manufacturer or retailer.

andreahope79 @okapishop hi, sorry about that it may be a different style. Some of the other Kristin bags have a clasp closure that goes over the silver ball.
