It is the heavy high quality leather we love from Coach. There is a great deal of life left in this bag but it needs TLC. It is truly beautiful. The coloring on edges and corners is the problem and that is why I believe it should be re-dyed. If you are a Coach purist I would recommend replacing the handles and some intense conditioning with Leather CPR or another quality leather conditioner.
