Navy is deep but has beautiful blue tone in sunlight sometimes these are sold as blavy in color due to the darkening closer to black but this bag retains it's deep blue hue. Vintage classic with imprinted solid brass on the hardware indicating 1970s origin NYC. Immaculate condition of the binding and all of the seams and interior. The stress points at the flap have a little bit of leather rollover but absolutely no stretching or tears that occur in that fragile zone usually in a bag this old. Stitching intact and flawless. This was well maintained and seems to have been minimally used. Please see photos as they are part of the description. There are nice striations present on the sides and front flap. The flap holder and tongue show absolutely no signs of wear. The corners don't have any rubbing or loss of color. The only flaws are a few blemishes on the underside of the front panel under the flap. There are a few small indentations, please see photo of the two that are zoomed in on they look perfectly spaced. I cannot confirm if this is indeed scarring or some type of a pressure injury. Rare and hard to find color in this condition
