Main compartment lining is stained and will need cleaning, front pocket lining is clean. I find that the bag does have scent from the previous owner. Not offensive but I would describe it as smelling like it lived in a home where candles were burning often. Could definitely be remedied. The bag does NOT come with a cross body strap.
