Clown HOPI KATCHINA DOLL

Clown Katchina figurine holding a red feather. Features bold black and white stripes with red accents. the katchinas are from the Hopi Mesas this collector piece is from around the 1940s. I do not know the carver. But it looks to be carved by one of the Hopi artists of the time. it has been repaired. but it is in good shape. made from the traditional cotton wood that grows along dry river beds in the Pueblo Mesas region of Arizona, New Mexico, and the four corners reservation. he is about 12" high
