shell143 @kc1101 thank you! I rescued Indie. Someone had bred her and dumped her. She was on her way to the pound and at the time I wasn't a dog lover, but she looked at me with those big sad help me eyes and I was like ok, you are mine. Lol! I bought her all kinds of toys got her fixed and got her like ten bags of treats! Angel I found almost dead when she was just a kitten. She was in the AZ heat in a tire well. I woke up every two hours on the dot to bottle feed her. Skippy, he's my peanut butter colored Manx, he was left when a girl moved out. I got him as a kitten too. Binx my cousin rescued before he was put down and she brought him to me. He was grown already and no one wanted him. My rooster I got for free at a yard sale before they turned him into dinner lol and my chicken I got when someone was being evicted. My fish were rescued from a girl at the fair who was shaking the bag around and pouring beer into their water.

shell143 @kc1101 and my cockatiels were in a tiny rabbit cage with 20 others. They were in bad shape. Their feathers were missing and they had mites real bad. There wasn't any food or water. Now they're beautiful and in a huge plexi glass cage with tons of toys, mite free!

kc1101 @shell143 She poured Beer in the poor fishes! OMG! You are a truly wonderful person! My Lex found a baby bird that had fallen or got pushed out of the nest this morning! The poor thing was barely alive, I got it into the house to try and help it but its little body just gave up!😢 I even tried CPR on it!

shell143 @kc1101 lol I used to go out after the storms in Phoenix and find all the baby birds! I had a pigeon I named peoples lol I taught him to fly. He lived on our entertainment center and every morning he would fly outside and he would fly from the roof onto my shoulder so I could feed him. Every night he'd fly back to his cage lol. He was awesome. Then I had a starling that I fed since he was barely out of his egg and I'd walk him with my ducks up and down the street lol. People were like what the!? I had two ducks and a little black starling following me in a row. One duck I rescued by jumping in a nasty smelling pond because his shell had dried to his back and he was drowning. The other I got from a slaughter house. I told them I wanted to kill it and prepare it just so they wouldn't do it before they gave him to me!

shell143 @kc1101 lol neither lol just don't like to see them suffer. 😊 It's awesome your family is the same way. My mom used to get so upset because I was constantly dragging home animals and my dad would help lol. My dad loves them to, but he has his hands full. :( in Phoenix, people dump animals all the time or just leave them when they move. My dad has an issue with cats. He started feeding one, and now he has 20! The ASPCA doesn't help and the pounds are over run. Sadly my mom is allergic and can't handle that many. We also rescued a Pitt puppy that was hiding under a chair in my parents yard. Badly neglected. It's ear was the size of a soft ball. It was emaciated and filthy. My brothers did some bartering with the vet to try and save her ears, but they ended up having to crop them. She's a real good dog and the boys love her. My moms ok with her... Sigh but the cats. My dad needs help and no one will help him.

kc1101 @shell143 My kids and I saved a little starling several yrs ago as well! We named him Jack, he was so tiny! Still had his downy feathers! Fed him by hand his birdie formula! Kept the cat away from him, he would fly and hop around the house! When he got to big he would fly outside across the street and come back when we called his name! Lol. One day he flew away and never came back😔 My kids were so sad!

bellasbeauties My perfume is also discontinued , but I found a bottle almost full here on oosh for cheap. I've also found it on eBay some very expensive some nit so bad. I did a search on posh , you know go to the search button and write exactly what ur looking for. I can only wear my scent or nothing at all. Look at a site called hottperfume.com. I found mine there too for only. 69.99.. Plus on eBay some were expensive others weren't to bad.

shell143 @uzanne That's ok, I understand. I get migraines every day. I too, was hit by a vehicle. Not a semi like you,😰 but by a drunk driver who was going down the road at 70 mph. I was directing cars away from another accident and it was dark so I didn't see that she wasn't slowing down... I tried to make it out of the way, but she flew right through the 2 cars that were in the accident and I got hit by a flying car and flew 68 ft across the intersection. I hit the ground three times, tore my MCL, obtained a head injury and completely damaged my spine. My neck curves in the opposite direction at -130 degrees and my pelvis is tilted so bad that 1 leg is an inch shorter than the other and my spine is curved and twisted in ways it shouldn't be. Because of the spine and neck injuries, I'm in constant pain every day and have horrendous migraines. It destroyed me. I refuse to take anything but excedrine so, I just suffer. 😔 It made my pregnancy so hard when it came to having my daughter, that I almost died. I spent 2 weeks after in the hospital and it took me over a year to finally recuperate. I'm just now feeling better and my daughter is 16 months! So yeah, I don't know how you completely feel, but as far as the migraines go, I definitely know. In fact, ones starting to hit and I feel my right side of my face going numb. I'm going to go hit the excedrine now lol!

bellasbeauties GEEZAES you sound more like me than you know, I just got up to get ice for my head it helps a lot, I would love to talk to you on the phone if you would... I too have a shorter keg and hips and pelvis crushed , I was degloved from my upper back down so I have absolutely no gluteus , tail bone half of my sacrum, when people say oh I have no a--. I literally don't. It partially came off in rd and the rest turned gangrene and was removed. No soft tissue or muscle, lolol true, think we are grossing people out? I also have a colostomy. Bla bla bla. We aren't so bad off though were alive and well other than migraines and me being a bit koko! Not brain damaged.. Email me when your feeling better and when were both good maybe we can compare notes, I'll give you my number via email... It's not nice to meet others in similar life changing situation but it makes it a but easier to talk with someone who really understands... Going back to bed with my ice and my Bubby will rub my head... Hope to talk soon

shell143 @uzanne They put it back on the shelves a few months ago!😄😄😄 There is nothing else that works for me. My migraines would last non stop close to a week. I was in so much pain I had to keep my eyes covered and wear ear plugs. It hurt so bad that I wanted to cry but I couldn't even do that in fear it would make it worse. I'd even throw up sometimes and my body would tremble because of the excruciating pain. 😣

bellasbeauties WOWEEE , I just got up myself feeling a bit better. I sometimes go for Demerol chits if I can't get rid of pain with my meds,I take morphine slow release 3times a day, no more percs no more Valium , or muscle relaxers and no more furinol that was giving me rebound headaches.. My heads been much better but the past few weeks bad again... I'm sure like myself it's all about pain management for me, the past 30 yrs. how many years ago did you get hurt? Would you like to talk sometime on the phone? Hope your head is better for the moment...

shell143 @uzanne wow! I couldn't imagine how much pain you went through! I didn't lose mine, but my sacrum got fractured from where the car hit me in my rear lol!!! Oooooooo the pain trying to sit or stand for a month. Even to this day ugh I have to use a doughnut if I sit long periods of time. Super embarrassing!!!! If I don't, I feel like it's broken all over again. 😖 but you are right, at least we are alive and we are walking and normal for the most part!!!😃😃😃 yes, please email your number and I'll send mine as well! 😊

My dad poor guy, he lives in a rough part of Phoenix where people don't take care of their animals and he has a colony of 17 cats now. He feeds them all and tries to find them homes. The postal lady loves cats too, so every 2 weeks she drops off a bag if cat food to help my dad out because it expensive to feed so many

shell143 @tiffy870711 yeah lol I kept rescuing kittens and finding them too lol. Water dragons are super easy. They need a real big cage, but mine was a piece of cake. I got him for free. The guy hadn't changed his water in over a month. I got it home and it literally sat there and drank water for 10 minutes straight. It ate ton of crickets and worms too! He loved to splash in his "pond" all the time and sun under his lamp. He was awesome by I had to find him a new home when I got pregnant because I couldn't touch him or clean his cage anymore. A lady came and had a huge terrarium with a mini waterfall for him, so he was way happier that way I think.

shell143 @kyss91 lol I know what you mean! Before my fiancé came around, I rescued so many animals then we had our daughter and I had to curve it just because we don't have enough extra money to rescue anymore. They are so sweet, I couldn't just leave them to die or be euthanized.

And you just get older. 😔 I'm 33 now heading on 34 and already I look back and wish I would have done things differently. Wish I could be younger again and do everything I was to shy or didn't have the guts to do lol. I was very sheltered. You listen to me. Take it to heart. Do everything you ever wanted to do before you settle down. Got a credit card? Making money selling? Don't spend it on meaningless clothing or the next big fad. Travel. Travel. Travel. Soak up those opportunities. I look for things for myself and things to sell because I have to now. The money I get on here goes straight to bills and things for my daughter. I'll trade for things I want but honestly do you know why I have really no clothing listed? Because I wear "rags" jeans or pj bottoms and oversized tshirts. I don't own much clothes because I'm always home.

lrwalker72 I'm sort of already settled down. I rent my house and live with my boyfriend and our 7 month old but we hardly get along. I wish I would've waited longer until we were married. I feel bad because we're always fighting and were miserable. But I don't want to leave either. It's awful. I was very sheltered also. And I've racked up 1000 dollars in credit card bills mostly from Victoria's Secret. I'm just fixing to pay off all my debt with tax money. @shell143

shell143 @lrwalker72 I know how you feel.😔 my guy and I argued so much. We still do just quieter so our daughter doesn't get upset. I'm engaged but not married. I don't think I'll ever marry him because I just don't feel the least bit special. Like tonight we were at a birthday party... I watched as one of my guys friends lovingly rubbed his girls foot and wrapped it up because she hurt it. Never has my guy ever did anything like that for me. It was my first time getting out in awhile and I was having a good time mingling... Then my guy said he wanted to go because he was tired and wanted to relax. So we left. We get home and he takes off like 3 minutes later to go hang out with two other friends. I'm not gunna lie. It pissed me off. Finally I get out and an hour later we come home just so he can leave and I'm sitting here as my little one sleeps lol feeling very sad and lonely. It sucks. I'm always home taking care of my little one. He is always with friends and family... I don't have anyone here and it just makes me so resentful.

lrwalker72 I totally feel you. We're always arguing about something. He's almost always home with us except he works day shifts and I work night shifts now but ever since our son was born he's gone out less than 5 times with friends. I just can't ever get his attention and he never does anything for me or compliments me anymore. He's just downgrading me all the time. Its such a stressful life. I love him to death and we have good times but right now it's like I wonder why we even try anymore. I don't think he'll ever marry me. He's said he's going to propose a million times but never does. @shell143 I also have no friends and he hates all of my family so I'm all by myself

lrwalker72 I really hate buying groceries they're so expensive. We have food stamps right now but I'm probably about to lose them because we're both working now. I went on one for my 18th birthday it was amazing. I'm actually holding onto my tax money to try to go on one for my 21st. You can go to the Bahamas for like $200/ -300 a person. @shell143 it's just difficult traveling to the port and paying for the hotel plus spending money and excursions it adds up quick

shell143 @lrwalker72 there will be a day where you all of a sudden snap out of it. Meaning, you will realize that your son is all you really need to make you happy. You will be all about your son and not about your man anymore because your son loves you unconditionally and he shows it. It happened to me when she had just turned 2. And I stopped catering. Stopped caring if he was hurt or sick or whatever because he didn't show me anything like that in return. But before you get to that point. Leave. Because at that point you will have stopped caring about yourself as well. It's hard, but your immediate family is important. Your son is important. And what good are you to them if you aren't even good for yourself? Don't let him degrade you. You made it on your own before him, you can do it again without him. There is someone out there who would treat you like a queen. Treat your son like his own. And that person will come when you least expect it. Don't end up like me. 😔 it's no way to live.

shell143 @lrwalker72 my fiancé makes too much for us to get food stamps. Problem is, he spends a lot! He can't save anything. He has court fees he has to pay for plus all his ins. On his dirt bikes and RV and trucks, then his snap on tools he's always buying and paying on. Plus he went and got himself a DUI when I went home to see my family... Now, we barely have enough to pay bills let alone buy groceries. :( I just buy for my daughter. I feed her and then I eat whatever she doesn't finish on her plate. If she eats everything, well, I just drink a bunch of water and eat some crackers to hold me over.... It really sucks. The only thing I have worth anything really that is actually mine, is this phone and I make sure it's paid so I can still sell stuff.

Life's rough 😐 @shell143 my grandparents have been here to help us we lived with them from a couple months after I got pregnant until our son was 3 months old. I couldn't get by without them and I just lost my job for like a month. I did get a new one with much better pay though @shell143 but they have helped me through with food and bills and a car. We're just about to buy him a car now since we've shared one

shell143 @lrwalker72 well, that's just how it goes... At least that's what I tell myself. I'll look into applying just for my daughter and I. :) I didn't know I could do that. Thanks! My mom does help me. When I go home twice a year, she's always picked up stuff for me lol so for like 4-5 months out of the year I eat decent lol. Daycare here is just so expensive here. 289- a WEEK and his parents aren't much help. They party a lot still, so I don't have anyone to watch my little one... So, I've been looking for something that starts after my fiancé gets home but I haven't had much luck. The good thing though is when my daughter starts school, I can work. The bad thing is, that's not for another 2 years. 😰😥😰

lrwalker72 Yeah I feel you it's about 250 a week here I could never put him in a day care. I used to work at one actually but yeah I hate working nights but it's the only thing that works right now @shell143 my grandma would watch him during the day but he's just started taking bottles so he's not ready for that. Also, I don't know if it's different in your state or where you live but here in Georgia we also have WIC. It gives vouchers for food. Just simple things though like bread, fruit, milk, eggs, vegetables. I had that for awhile but I haven't been back to get more. @shell143
