vintage Ace #703 Specialized Capabilities: This variant was uniquely designed to open up completely flat to allow for standard tacking (stapling flat onto walls or bulletin boards) Ace Clipper II #703 dates broadly to circa 1968–1971. The Ace Fastener Corporation built these mechanical tools with full heavy-duty steel bodies coated in a polished chrome finish to protect them against rust and deep scratching in retail environments. Looking at the reflection in your photo, your stapler's chrome finish is exceptionally well-preserved, showing zero pitting or flaking, which is excellent for a tool that is over 50 years old.
