@def88 I think it is real leather. It smells, feels and looks like real leather but I can’t say for absolute sure. I have other Caviar Chanel bags and this looks the same. This was a gift so not sure. I’m a handbag designer, and my guess would be it is real leather. The Leather on the chain strap doesn’t seem as sturdy as it should be though and is damaged is some spots. See photos. That is my only call out on the bag.
