Claire’s Faux Pearl Rhinestone Necklace

This is a sweet older costume piece from Claire’s boutique - quite possibly vintage. I swear Claire’s has been around forever as a trendy place for costume jewelry and accessories. They were founded in 1961 and are still going today. Back when I was a kid (I'm talkin' 70's), Claire’s was like a candy shop for me - they had all the coolest stuff. Hard to date this piece - could be anywhere back to the 80’s when pearls were so very popular. It is in excellent shape with perhaps a little wear at the place where the pearls are attached to the gold rhinestone “V” - the faux pearls show no wear. 18” with additional 1.5” drop of the “V” with pearl. Gold tone spring C clasp with “Claire’s” on the tag. Pretty li’l choker that would look lovely for a special occasion.
