mjhammack This is an Eco Drive watch but it is having trouble working? Please excuse my question, I thought Eco Drive meant that they never need a battery replacement because they use light-

jmcdunnah @mjhammack Hello and thanks for your question! It is an Ecodrive, and you are correct they do not use batteries as they are mechanical. To keep mechanical watches functioning optimally it is recommended to service them to ensure they are keeping good time and that the mechanisms are functioning properly. Both watches listed do work, once they have been "wound" by wearing or rotating them; however, neither has been serviced in over 5 years. Let me know if you have any other questions!

jmcdunnah @mjhammack Hi, the last time I wore this (about two years ago) it worked quite well! I am happy to take it out of my jewelry box and expose it to light and wear it to ensure it is still working. I can update with its current functionality tomorrow!

stripercheckmat Jmc, am interested in watch but a little confused on whether watch keeps time or not? I know eco-drive and the capacitor driven quartz movement; if you place in sunlight for several hours it should function. Please advise on this; perfect for older woman in rest home or old school lady. Stripercheckmate
