njboolover @oonuts I'm not sure someone gave me there jewelry box of unused jewelry it was mixed with real and costume... How can I tell if it is or not?

oonuts @njboolover If the setting is real it will be marked either 10ct, 14ct it 9.25. If there are no markings then the metal is some kind of alloy, either brass, copper or steel mixed. If the setting isn't real, the stone probably isn't either. The only way to tell if the stone is real is if you have a gemological microscope or you take it to a jeweler. Hope this helps.
