Beautiful Avon Books 1983 trade paperback editions of two Christopher Morley classics: • Parnassus on Wheels (ISBN 0-380-62703-5) • The Haunted Bookshop (ISBN 0-380-62695-0) Illustrated by Douglas Gorsline. First Avon printings (April 1983), both designed by Warren Chappell. Condition: Very close to mint. Covers are glossy and clean, pages are tight and bright. The Haunted Bookshop has a small crease at the title page/spine hinge (see photos), otherwise excellent. No writing, highlighting, or remainder marks. Parnassus on Wheels is about as crisp as you’ll find outside of new. Notes: These collectible Avon 1983 editions are harder to find in this condition as a set.
