Christopher & Banks Size 10 mom jeans

Can you sew a button? These jeans are in excellent condition, however, if you look closely, it appears a button was re-sewn on with a slightly different thread than the other button--though super close. If I were keeping these jeans and could sew. I would resew both buttons on with the same color thread. Easy project.
