In EUC, here is a collectible ornament from the "Memories of Santa Collection" by Christmas Reproductions, Inc. The first Santas were introduced in 1983 and sought to tell the story of Santa chronologically. This particular ornament is the second one issued based on the interior listing of the pamphlet. He is described as Kris Kringle, circa 1885, "depicted in rich flowing white robes, with features of both Saint Nicholas and Santa Claus." The sticker on the base shows 1984, and item #8436 is on the box top.
The ornament is hand-painted, and made of earthenware. In the 1990s, Lenox began issuing porcelain statues of the collection per a full-page, mail order ad appearing in Better Homes & Gardens issue of November, 1995. No cracks anywhere, just a little wear to the paint with age.
