This is a substantial trapper's cap of shearling (sheep skin with wool still on). It is well sewn. There is a maker's tag sewn in "Chris Gurdol". That is the only identification I found. I have a 7 1/4 head. This fit snuggly but not uncomfortably. If you have a smaller size head this might be more comfortable for all day wear. The shearling is thick on all sections. When warm you may tie the ear flaps up with the leather straps already provided. The front flap/visor is held up with a substantial piece of white Velcro. This is tannish/brown color throughout. This could be worn by anyone. There was some debris that has been vacuumed out of this hat. There was some sticky stuff on the fur that I have washed out with water.
