Chinese Dragon Head Signed Earring, patented clip on design, vintage 80s.

These earrings are vintage and special, they are signed and also stamped with the patent number. The jewelry makers mark is pictured, but I cannot read it. On the clip side is the patent number 3176475. This was a special patent for this type of clip on design, granted in 1962. It makes the earring much more comfortable, and very secure on the ear. Each earring measures about an inch and is a hoop design, that comes from the dragon’s face. (I don’t know the date, but this is part of my Mother’s estate prior to 1995). Thanks for looking!
