Child's Indian Halloween Costume - Handmade - Dress-Up Top is a Vest-like shirt with brown faux suede fringe sewn down the front, accenting the arms and collar / front of shirt, You can use 2 pieces of fringe to tie together wherever needed to 'button-up' or leave open. The rest of the Material is a cotton or cotton-like beige. There is an Indian-style emblem of a bird drawn on the back in magic marker. It measures approximately 27" from top of back of neck to bottom of fringe; Approximately 19" from pit to pit. From top of waist to bottom fringe it's app. 16" Faux Brown Suede Loin Cloth - ties around the waist. Measures 42" from one end of tie to the other. Not hemmed. Faux Brown Suede fringed ankle covers included to authenticate the look - I think I had these pinned together, but would use stick-on hook and loop closure type / velcro pieces to size around your child's ankle. They are fringed at the bottom and would slightly cover a show if one is worn. I made this into the wee hours of the night for my son when he needed it for a thanksgiving re-enactment. Unfortunately, the sewing is not very good and the lines are not at all straight. BUT - it did the job for a costume and looked pretty neat. I like a handmade costume better than the polyester types that you buy in the store. I think it's cute so hoping someone else can use it - but please be aware that the sewing is far from perfect.
