I can't decide what shade best describes the background color...depends on the available light in the space. maybe eggplant or brown or merlot or black. very stylish any way. Nice front panel conceals midsection issues. Worn once in a non dining venue. length is 43: and bust measures 20" lying flat.

@cwspunky hello. the thin barsxare beige and it is one of thecweird dresses that changes color with amount of available light. purple or brown? i am away fromnthe house. i will be home this evening and post a pic. i had one but it may have gotten deleted. thanks for asking.

@cwspunky i changed the cover shot. i asked 5 of my regular buyers and got 5 different responses. Black, indigo, plum, brown and purple. really interesting.
