Cherry Amber Bakelite Graduated Beaded Necklace w/Crystal Spacers Art Deco Style

Fantastic find from a few years ago. Important: see all pix to make your own determinations & conclusions as to what we have. We believe it’s a Cherry Amber Bakelite Graduated Beaded Necklace with Crystal “separator” or spacer accents We also believe likely Art Deco era See photos, it is esti 17” long See photos, it weighs esti 7.5 g GORGEOUS color red faceted beads, with clear/crystal faceted beads spaced between each each red bead. Unsure what clear beads are. The string goes through the middle/center of all beads. See pix to ensure you agree. We took pix w/a flashlight to help see thru the beads a bit more clearly. Please see pix w/the Q-tips & Simichrome Polish. We cleaned 4 separate beads gently (but well) with ONLY water … then dried well with a towel. We then applied a very small, thin amount of the polish to the Q-tip & rubbed vigorously on each bead. In the pic, you can see result. Be sure you agree, as this is not something we normally deal in. Each Q-tip head has a very faint color of pink from the paste, and then the color of brown appears on top. Condition is good, closure works as it should. We did not apply any strong pressure - but when worn around the house for a short while, it stayed around my neck. Some tarnish; does not attract a magnet. A vintage item, so expect some scratches & signs of prior wear. Will need a cleaning. As with all of our items, this comes to you as found, as is. We cannot guarantee age, origin OR materials.
