Charming Antique Cream Bowl by Cartwright Brothers, Likely from 1880s-1890s.

This classic, understated antique bowl looks great styled with fall’s red apples, Halloween candy, or spring lemons! This bowl measures approximately 11.5 diameter at top and 5.5 diameter at bottom. It is about 4.25” tall. It has no chips or cracks but does have some staining and blemishes in the bowl and around the top edge. The blemishes around the top edge appear to be original to the bowl. There is one brown divet in the bowl (about .25”) that also appears original and has some brown staining around it. As antique 100+ year bowls go, I would say it’s fairly minor. See pictures above in regard to blemishes and examples of staining. Cartwright Brothers Pottery operated out of Ohio from 1880 to 1927. Items that appear similar to this one are dated as 1880s-1890s. If anyone out there has a more accurate take on the age of this piece please let me know!
