wandacox4518 @lily_putian She was 6 years old when I bought it. She is petite so we were able to get a couple years out of it. She could have probably gotten a little longer out of it but she outgrew the arm length ☺️

lily_putian @wandacox4518 thank you! My sister’s husband is in the Navy. They are moving to a windy place by the ocean! My niece (and her mama) have to walk to and from school every day. So a good hood is very important to me! Did your daughter wear the hood a lot? Is it windproof and waterproof, I hope? 🤞🏻 Thanks again for your time again! 🤗

wandacox4518 @lily_putian It is waterproof but not wind proof. The lining is very thin. She didn’t wear the hood much.

lily_putian @wandacox4518 oh thank you again! Does the hood have elastic to help it stay snug around her face and keep wind from getting inside her hood? I think my sister would tie her hood around her face to make it impossible for her to take off, if they still made them like that. She is an overprotective mama for sure!! 🤣

wandacox4518 @lily_putian You’re welcome ☺️. There is a small band of elastic on the hood at the top where it would lay on the forehead. There is no elastic on the sides of the hood and no strings to keep it close to the sides of face.
