equinelady81 @london_love I don’t think so. It’s brand new, never used and kept in my home. I don’t think the material breaks down like a helmet liner, especially since it’s been in my climate controlled house. Plenty of people wear this vest, I think some add an air vest over top, but that’s personal preference.

equinelady81 @london_love the standards have been updated to 2018; this vest is new and has been kept in my smoke free home. I would say it is not something that would be approved for competitions, but if someone trail rides, foxhunts, doesn’t show/compete, and wants added safety- it still has value. I can lower price to reflect that… I paid over $300 new.
