pinkvogue The inside soles have never been black only beige leather and it's missing the Chanel stamp on the inside of the soles and the bottom isn't a unified rubber sole like all authentic Chanel espadrilles are.

formerebayer just wanted to add my 2 cents. these are absolutely authentic. i personally had this pair in this color combo and still own the gray black version. these are the older canvas single sole espadrilles (my personal fave). People PLEASE do your research before claiming these are not authentic.

formerebayer BTW I have the new style too with the leather and thicker insole and i think these older versions are more comfortable. just my opinion. i know chanel made the sole thicker so it didn't wear out as fast but as long as you take care of them (and I got my gray pair professionally re-soled) they will last you a looooong time.

twopugsnme @aurora83 these are authentic, they are the single sole and that’s why the inside is dark. The double sole does have the light leather inside. People should not comment on other closets that don’t know what the are talking about!
